Extras Shows: The Boy With Tape on His Face & James Acaster

COMEDY FESTIVAL Success Brings EXTRA SHOWS

The Boy With Tape on His Face and young UK stand-up JAMES ACASTER
sell-outs lead to extra shows.

Comedy.co.nz productions ltd announces extra shows for two of its performers in this year’s NZ International Comedy Festival. Director Scott Blanks says “I am proud of how our local audiences have responded so readily to new face James Acaster. They have recognised quality very quickly and his season was all but sold out before he even started this week at The Classic.”

Ever since his stand-out performance in the Comedy Gala with his cleverly constructed tales about ready-to-eat-apricots and the folly of taking an apple to a nightclub, young UK stand-up James Acaster has attracted keen crowds to his season at the Classic Comedy in Queen St. The public demand has led to an extra show at 5pm in Saturday May 18 at the Basement.

Sam Wills, aka The Boy With Tape on His Face, returned to Auckland last night hot off a highly successful national tour to face a sold-out Auckland season. His extra show is at 5pm on Saturday May 18 at Q Theatre.

Tickets for these shows are on sale now:
– James Acaster: 0800 TICKETEK, www.ticketek.co.nz <http://www.ticketek.co.nz> or www.comedy.co.nz <http://www.comedy.co.nz>
- The Boy With Tape on His Face: ph 3099771, www.qtheatre.co.nz <http://www.qtheatre.co.nz>
