Sony Music Is Proud to Announce the Signing Of X Factor Favourites Moorhouse

After weeks of fevered anticipation, MOORHOUSE the group of charming lads who won the hearts and affection of teenage and adult fans alike during this year’s season of THE X FACTOR NEW ZEALAND, have been signed by Sony Music.

MOORHOUSE, is Marley Wilcox-Nanai, 17, Rory McKenna, 20, Brock Ashby, 19, Jason Aileone, 19.
Hailing from the mighty Christchurch, the boys had already begun making a name for themselves before stealing the show at their audition for the series, singing a compelling cover of JUSTIN BIEBER’S ‘AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME’.

From that moment at their audtion, the group has never looked back. With a huge social media following and over 1 million cumulative views on YouTube, it is clear that there is a huge fan base rearing to support the band in their next steps.

Of the signing, MOORHOUSE member Brock Ashby says, “This is a dream come true for us. We have worked really hard to get here, to be on the same label as Stan Walker, who we look up to, is a complete honour! This is everything we wanted and more.”

The band are in the studio working hard on their debut album, due for release before Christmas this year.
