Entries for Webb's first Important Paintings & Contemporary Art auction of 2014 close this Friday 28th February.

Final entries are now invited for Webb’s first dale of Important Paintings & Contemporary Art for 2014. Following a record year in 2013, which saw the New Zealand art market achieve its highest ever total at 20.3 million, our upcoming sale will be the focus of collectors
this season.

The catalogue includes a formidable body of works from New Zealand’s modern period including a suite of rare paintings by cornerstone figure Colin McCahon and further works by Tony Fomison, Robin White, Pat Hanly, Allen Maddox, Frances Hodgkins, Ralph Hotere, Graham Sydney and Russell Clark.

The sale also includes works by renowned contemporary artists such as Bill Hammond, Lillian Budd (Et Al.), Dale Frank, Peter Robinson, Francis Upritchard and Ronnie Van Hout.

Due to the high level of interest, we have extended our consignment deadline to Friday 28th February. We encourage you to make contact for a no obligation appraisal and to experience the scholarly, well-referenced approach that delivers New Zealand’s highest prices.
