Nominations closing for Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year

MEDIA RELEASE

26 September 2014

Nominations are closing for Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year

Nominations close on Tuesday for the 2015 Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards.

Over the past six years, the Awards have become one of New Zealand’s most prestigious. Driven by public nominations, any and every New Zealander can have a say as to who they want to see recognised.

“Celebrating success is important,” says National Awards Manager Glyn Taylor. “It’s infectious, it inspires others to step up and also make a contribution. There should never be any limit on the number of times we recognise those in our communities who make a valued contribution to making our world a better place.”

“We’re asking New Zealanders to take a few minutes now to visit www.nzawards.org.nz and complete the online registration form and tell us about the Kiwis that have influenced or inspired them......they deserve the recognition. Nominations are already ahead of last year but so many New Zealanders who should be nominated have not been.”
