Where Should Fans Should Sit to Catch a Share of a Million

Where Should Fans Should Sit to Catch a Share of a Million

The ICC Cricket World Cup comes to Wellington tomorrow. The Blackcaps take on rivals England. However, the big news for the fans, is that Tui Catch a Million is back to bring the excitement back to Westpac Stadium.

Tui Brewery, official beer of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and New Zealand Cricket (NZC), is proud to announce the return of Catch a Million.

This year we are making it even easier to catch a share of the cash on offer, as we are giving fans the inside word on where to sit. Tui Brewery have teamed up with sports statistics company Opta to develop ‘Wagon Wheels’ for stadiums and players which give you the best insight to get to grips with sixes this ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

Wellington’s Westpac Stadium has a surprising splutter of shots however deep point, deep cover, deep square leg and deep midwicket are definitely popular hotspots.

However these stats would be nothing without the knowledge on where the big hitters like to smash the odd loose ball. The ‘Wagon Wheels’ for six smashers in both Blackcaps and England squads give punters the true indication on where to park themselves and get to grips with a well struck six, one-handed cleanly of course.

There have already been two sensational Tui Catch a Million on-handed catches – will the next come in Wellington?

The opening match in Christchurch on Saturday saw Sunjay Ganda take a brilliant one-handed catch to kick off the tournament. Not to be outdone by their South Island counterparts Hamilton’s Seddon Park was packed to the rafters on Sunday, and lucky Zimbabwe fan Travis Committie took a beauty without spilling a drop of beer in his other hand.
