Auckland Live presents

THE LARGEST LEGO® CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE IS COMING TO AOTEA SQUARE

Taller than a two-storey house and built from over half a million LEGO bricks, the LEGO Christmas Tree is coming to New Zealand where it will light up Auckland’s Aotea Square from Friday 25th November to Tuesday 27 December.

The jaw-dropping giant LEGO Christmas Tree stands at over 10 metres tall, weighs 3.5 tonnes and took more than 1,200 hours to build.

Decorated with some distinctly kiwi-flavored festive additions, including a life-size Santa with a surfboard, a pukeko and a kiwi, the spectacular tree will come to life each evening from 7 pm with a light and sound show.

The LEGO Christmas Tree will be officially unveiled on the evening of Friday 25thNovember at Aotea Square, where friends and whanau are invited to celebrate the launch of the festive season and Auckland Live Summer in the Square programme.

Further details will be available in the coming weeks at www.aucklandlive.co.nz/event/lego-christmas-tree
