Media Release: For Immediate Release

A Slightly Isolated Dog presents
Don Juan…with a twist
Directed by Leo Gene Peters

Yes you heard it, we have been touring through the country’s theatres, showering them with love and receiving rapturous applause at every turn…but we are coming home to see you, our darling Wellington from 16 November to 4 December! Five fabulous performers will delight and excite with theatre, storytelling and love in Don Juan…with a twist.

The twist is this – we will be performing in secret inner-city bar locations. Just like those famous musicians, it will be confirmed only when enough people purchase a golden ticket. We call it Crowd Demanded Theatre! How hip! How fun!

Show how much you love us, and head to to purchase an early bird ticket. Get ready to drop everything (even your panties), message your Tinder date, BFF or soulmate and elope to the chosen venue to discover five hilarious performers ready to flirt, fall in love and tell the story of Don Juan.

Don Juan suffers no fools. He lives big, loves big, consequences be damned! And Don Juan loves Wellington bars, trysts in the toilets, owning the dance floor and drinking exotic cocktails. Ooh yes he does!

Featuring our gorgeous cast of Comfrey Sanders, Andrew Paterson, Susie Berry, Jack Buchanan and Jonathan Price, and directed by the experimental genius, immersive theatre lover and oh-so-talented Leo Gene Peters (Perfectly Wasted, Strange Resting Places, Death and the Dreamlife of Elephants).

"This iteration of Don Juan feels like you’re being told the story of an outrageous friend of a friend. Incredibly entertaining. Go with a group if you can because it will be more fun that way."
