Tauranga’s first ever Armageddon Expo
Stars from The Flash, Teen Wolf, The 100 and more head to the Bay of Plenty for Tauranga’s first ever Armageddon Expo.
New Zealand’s biggest geek and entertainment event, Armageddon Expo is coming to Tauranga’s ASB Baypark Arena on May 27thand 28th for what will be a weekend of epic proportions for Bay of Plenty citizens!
Armageddon plans on making a good first impression on the area bringing with them a massive line-up of celebrity guests from hit films and television shows including; Firefly’s JEWEL STAITE, Teen Wolf’s MAX and CHARLIE CARVER, The 100’s RICHARD HARMON and SACHIN SAHEL. Lost Girl’s PAUL AMOS as well as The Flash’s MATT LETSCHER, Legends of Tomorrow star FRANZ DRAMEH, Babylon 5’s PATRICIA TALLMAN and Highlander star ADRIAN PAUL.
No Armageddon Expo is complete without an array of comic and animation guests this time consisting of ROBBIE DAYMOND (Sailor Moon, Final Fantasy XV), RAY CHASE (One Punch Man, Final Fantasy XV), MAX MITTELMAN (One Punch Man, The Seven Deadly Sins), KYLE HEBERT (Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist) and Marvel Comic Artist TODD NAUCK (Spiderman, Deadpool).
Event organiser William Geradts said of the decision to bring the event to Tauranga, “We are so excited to come to the Bay. Ever since we first announced that we would be hosting a Tauranga show the response has been fantastic! We've got some phenomenal celebrity guests lined up and some awesome local and national exhibitors booked in. We are positive our first #BAYOFGEDDON is going to be an epic weekend.”
There is something for everyone at Armageddon be it cosplay and eating contests, gaming tournaments, anime, film and television merchandise galore, an ice skating arena and lasertag as well as celebrity panels, photographs and signing sessions.
