New Zealand art movement aims to solve the
world's problems
'Prealism at the Academy' showing works by Dr Romuald Rudzki NZAFA, charts the origins of a new way of painting through kenosis - emptying of the self.
This wholly original 21st century New Zealand art movement is accompanied by the global launch of Rudzki's 2017 book Secrets of the Artists which describes 31 secrets artists keep largely to themselves, from grappling with 'What is art?' to 'When is it finished?'
Rudzki then takes these secrets and develops them into a method called 'RUCS' which can be used to find solutions to any problem in art or in life.
As he says ‘This is the new art of the 21st century, a new way of painting, a new way of seeing, a new way in which creative methods can prove themselves better than any other approach and it happened here in God’s Own Country first.’
Rudzki will be present throughout the exhibition, demonstrating the technique and is available for interviews.
