6lack Confirmed as Special Guest on Migos’ New Zealand & Australian Tour

Frontier Touring and Illusive Presents are excited to announce that joining Migos on their first ever Australian and New Zealand tour will be the much-hyped prodigious rap star 6LACK, also in his first ever appearances in this region.

Hailing from the current epicentre of US hip-hop music, Atlanta, 6LACK (pronounced ‘black’) has risen to prominence in the past 12 months following the release of his hugely acclaimed debut album Free 6LACK. The LP features his breakout hits ‘PRBLMS’ (certified platinum) and ‘Ex Calling’ which have amassed over 150 million plays on Spotify and YouTube between them. In June, 6LACK released a new stand-alone single ‘That Far’ (8 million Spotify streams) which hints at things to come from the enigmatic phenomenon.

Migos’ first Sydney show on at Hordern Pavilion on Friday 13 October sold out in minutes, with a second Sydney show at Hordern announced for Thursday 12 October. Tickets to all shows are on track to sell out.

The Atlanta trio will join us off the back of an extraordinary year-long winning streak that shows no signs of slowing down. In January, Migos released their Billboard #1 album Culturewhich spawned their breakthrough international mega-hit ‘Bad and Boujee’ – their first US #1 single which sits at a staggering 770 million plays across YouTube and Spotify. The LP also features worldwide smashes ‘T-Shirt’ (340 million plays), ‘Slippery’ (80 million plays) and ‘Get Right Witcha’ (70 million plays), all with accompanying remarkable music videos which have become a staple of the Migos brand.
