SIX60 and Nico & Vinz - Hawke's Bay Show Added, Christchurch Show Postponed

Tuesday, 5 December 2017- SIX60 have landed back on New Zealand soil after wrapping up the massive European leg of The New Waves World Tour with Nico & Vinz. Now they’re getting set for another Kiwi summer, and they’ve got news.

The beautiful Black Barn Vineyards in Hawke’s Bay will play host to the tour on 9 January. Tickets go on sale at midday on Thursday 7 December via Ticketmaster and the venue.

Due to scheduling changes, the Christchurch concert will be moved to a new date, 9 March. As Nico & Vinz will not be available for this concert, SIX60 will be joined by Kings and Drax Project. All tickets remain valid for the new date, and refunds are available for anyone not able to attend the March concert date. All ticket holders will receive an email from Ticketek confirming these details.

SIX60 singer Matiu Walters says that it’s good to be home after an epic six-weeks of touring across Europe, and that he can’t wait to get on the road again in New Zealand.

“The European tour was huge - it was amazing to travel with Nico & Vinz and to take our music to whole new audiences.

“There’s nothing like a New Zealand summer tour and we’re stoked to be able to add a Hawke’s Bay show to the schedule. We hope that the new Christchurch date works for everyone too and apologise if the change inconveniences anyone.

“The new songs went down really well overseas and we’re excited to bring them to our home audience, as well as play the favourites. After all the dates in Europe we know Nico & Vinz’s music really well and think Kiwi fans will love them too, and we’re excited to have Kings on the whole New Zealand tour with us."

There will be no further ticket releases for the sold-out Auckland concert Villa Maria Estate. Limited tickets to the Wellington and Tauranga remain available and tickets to the Hawkes Bay concert are expected to go very quickly as fans book in to see all the SIX60 hits and the incredible songs from the band’s brand new EP, including the hit ‘Don’t Give It Up’.

Fans should move quickly to secure their tickets for the remaining shows via Ticketek (Christchurch) and Ticketmaster (Wellington and Tauranga).
