Winter F.A.W.C! 2018 sees record pre-sales

Winter F.A.W.C! 2018 sees record pre-sales

Tuesday 24 April 2018

Pre-sales for Winter F.A.W.C! opened to incredible demand on Monday morning, seeing 600 tickets snapped up within the first hour of sales.

A total of 1,050 tickets were purchased by day’s end, more than a quarter of total available tickets, resulting in record pre-sales for Winter F.A.W.C!

Four events proved to be hugely popular with revellers: ‘Keeping up with the Kanagaratnams’ at Te Awanga Estate, ‘Funky Fondue Mid-Winter Christmas Party’ hosted at The Urban Winery, ‘Chefs in Homes’ at the Elephant Hill Lodge, and ‘The Truffle Trail with The Manse & Sacre Monte’ all sold-out by early Monday afternoon.

Annie Dundas, General Manager of Hawke’s Bay Tourism said she was ecstatic with the early numbers.

“This year is shaping up to be the best Winter F.A.W.C! yet, and with the incredible line-up it’s not surprising. We are seeing a lot of interest and ticket sales to out-of-towners, and we look forward to both visitors and locals alike experiencing the very best of Hawke’s Bay food and wine.”

The diversity of this year’s line-up offers a range of events to suit any taste and preference. From medieval feasts, international cuisine, educational workshops, cooking demonstrations and even a James Bond-themed dinner, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this June in Hawke’s Bay.

For those wanting to get involved with F.A.W.C! this year, head online to www.fawc.co.nz to learn more about each event and purchase tickets.

F.A.W.C! is organised by Hawke’s Bay Tourism and sponsored by Electrolux, New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty, Hawke’s Bay BMW, Air New Zealand, Hastings District Council and Napier City Council.
