Radio Sport is the Home for Summer Cricket

14 November 2018 – Radio Sport is your home for the summer of cricket ahead, bringing you live ball-by-ball commentary of all Blackcaps home games as well as the White Ferns T20 series and the domestic Super Smash competition.

Gareth Lischner, Content Director Radio Sport says, “With the Cricket World Cup taking place in England mid-2019, this summer is gearing up for a big one for our Black Caps. Radio Sport will provide live commentary of all Blackcaps home games with a great line up of commentators and experts calling all the action.”

The Blackcaps have series against Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh. Radio Sport will also have live commentary of the White Ferns T20 Double Headers with India.

Bryan Waddle and Jeremy Coney return to lead the commentary team. They’ll be joined throughout summer by Daniel McHardy, Peter McGlashan, Frankie McKay, Richard Petrie, Malcolm Jordan, Maia Lewis, Peter Fulton, Amiee Watkins, Andrew Alderson and Warren Lees.

Cricket fans can tune in to Radio Sport frequencies throughout New Zealand for live commentary, or alternatively listen to Radio Sport through the iHeartRadio app on their phones, or online at iheartradio.co.nz.
