Katchafire With Ali Campbell Of UB40 'Seriously' Single Out Now
Katchafire ‘Seriously (Feat. Ali Campbell)’ of UB40, Single Out Now from forthcoming 'Revival 2.0 Guest Edition' Album
New Zealand’s Katchafire and UB40’s Ali Campbell have collaborated on the first single to be released from Katchafire’s forthcoming ‘Revival 2.0 Guest Edition’ album, with ‘Seriously (feat. Ali Campbell)’ dropping on February 6. The bands are currently on tour together in New Zealand following an epic show last week in Fiji.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Ali Campell shared “I’ve known and followed Katchafire’s music for a long time, it was a real privilege to collab with them on this track. Seriously is a great tune! I’ve been really looking forward to sharing the stage with them again this Summer”.
The ‘Revival 2.0 Guest Edition’ album will be released on 27 November 2026, with a single being released every month leading up to the album drop, featuring special guest singers including tracks by David Hinds of Grammy Award winners Steel Pulse, Hawaii’s Mike Love, and Australian ARIA Award winner Emily Wurramara, amongst other roots and reggae luminaries to be revealed throughout the year.
“Katchafire has performed at the world’s biggest reggae festivals and has had the privilege of supporting and befriending the world’s biggest reggae artists, some of whom are our musical heroes. We are fortunate to bridge the gap between our humble country of Aotearoa and the world. We have connected with global reggae communities in South America, America, Jamaica, Europe and beyond. We feel blessed to be able to collaborate with some of these living legends. We are excited to release the first single - “Seriously” featuring guest singer Ali Campbell of UB40. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed the process of creating “REVIVAL 2.0 - GUEST EDITION”, Katchafire singer and founding member Logan Bell said.
Katchafire’s sound is defined by their seamless fusion of vibrant reggae rhythms with Māori influences, a unique combination resonates with listeners across the globe, making their music both deeply soulful and widely accessible.
As leading advocates for Māori music and Pacific reggae, for almost twenty-five years Katchafire have consistently produced songs that celebrate the importance of whānau (family), unity, and a strong sense of cultural pride. Their enduring commitment to these values is evident in every heartfelt melody they write and every dynamic live performance they deliver, ensuring that their music continues to inspire and uplift audiences everywhere.
