School of Sustainable Business Management opens its Doors!
Acclaimed New Zealand actor, Cliff Curtis, and Te Ohu Kaimoana Chairman, Shane Jones, will be keynote speakers at the opening of Te Wananga o Aotearoa's School of Sustainable Business Management on February 11 2005.
Located in Northcote, Auckland, in the iconic Canon Building, the School of Sustainable Business Management offers creative and contemporary thinking in business, sustainability and environmental resource management.
School Director, Keith Ikin, who has more than 15 years of leadership in Maori tertiary education, management, policy and learning support, says the School is focused on delivering positive educational outcomes.
"We have to respond to what our students are looking for. That means delivering practical, real world education that students will be able to use in their communities. At the same time, we are committed to excellence. We want to make sure that our students have access to the leading edge of business scholarship, which is why I am excited about our entire range of programmes * from our Level 2 Certificate to our MBA and DBA level programmes."
Both the MBA and the DBA programmes are a result of an innovative partnership between the School of Sustainable Business Management and Australia's prestigious Curtin University.
