with the Ministry of Education, brings Information and

Through the Ministry of Education’s ‘Refugee Resettlement Education’ funding, the programme has provided ICT education to refugee communities in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Palmerston North, Christchurch, Nelson and Porirua since 2004.
The programme provides families from Colombian, Somali, Afghani, Burmese, Bhutanese, Burundi, Eritrean, Congolese, Ethiopian, Iraqi and Cambodian communities with computers and internet access, but more importantly, with the training, skills and support to use these technologies to assist them with adjusting into New Zealand life.
