Teachers all around the country are back at school and feeling overwhelmed. The usual and ever-increasing time pressures placed upon their day are now squeezed further as they try to get their heads around the new National Standards. 98% of teachers will go through this year feeling swamped and stretched further than is reasonable. The other 2% know the resources they need to access to get on top of their time management in and out of the classroom.

Robyn Pearce has worked closely with the education sector since forming her time management company, GettingAGrip.com, 17 years ago. “More and more Teachers are coming to me seeking assistance with their time management skills. I knew it was time to really help teachers deal with all the time pressures they face and still get plenty of hands on time in the classroom.” Not only has she worked with education institutions, school principals, teachers and school support staff but she now has 14 grandchildren whose educational journey is of great importance to her. Her About Time and About Time For Teaching books are essential to any school or teacher’s ‘how to’ arsenal – these books will make a difference to teachers and school staff’s lives. Through Robyn’s simple to read and easy to follow books teachers will learn how to be as effective as they can be in children’s lives and still feel as if they are in control of their own.

Following the success of Robyn’s book About Time! 120 Tips for Those with No Time, people from all different backgrounds and all around the world were calling for more! So Robyn got to thinking, and taking the lead from her extensive involvement in the education sector and the ever-increasing number of teachers who make up her loyal readership she produced About Time for Teaching.

Where the first book reveals easy to apply industry-wide time management tips on prioritizing and planning, procrastination, technology management, meetings and work/life balance, the About Time for Teaching book drills down and really focuses on tried and true practical tips specific to teachers and administrators. You will find ‘best practice’ advice on eliminating classroom clutter, reducing interruptions, enjoying your own kids outside of school, simplifying and reducing meetings, effective communication strategies plus four chapters dedicated to school support staff and the important role they play. These books will make a huge difference to any member of the school staff – expect a life-changing shift to better time management and more effective application of your important role in children’s lives!
