Applications now open for the Rita Angus Residency

Applications now open for the Rita Angus Residency!

Calling New Zealand artists, applications are invited for Wellington’s 2011 Rita Angus Residency.

The Residency aims to support an artist to produce a new body of work that reflects upon the interplay between technology and culture. In addition, the residency aims to encourage the artist to enter into dialogue with the Wellington arts community and to exhibit and discuss their practice.

Hosted by the Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec) with support from Creative New Zealand, the residency will include accommodation in the historic Rita Angus Cottage, a weekly stipend and access to a range of equipment and resources at WelTec.
