Whangarei invited to join in NorthTec Graduation celebrations

Not only will this Wednesday see hundreds of NorthTec graduates celebrate their academic achievements amongst family and friends, but businesses and residents of Whangarei City can also join in to show their admiration and support.

As well as the usual programme with Graduation ceremonies taking place in the afternoons of Tuesday and Wednesday at Forum North, graduands part of Wednesday’s ceremony, will take part in a celebratory procession through the city from midday.

The parade will start off from the Cafler Park Rose Gardens on Water St, making its way onto Vine St and through the Quality St Mall before making a path up to Forum North along Cameron St Mall and Rust Ave.

The public, including business owners, are being encouraged to spend a few minutes of Wednesday to cheer on and lend support to the 2010 graduands for whom, it’s a joyous occasion that they wish to share with those part of the city.
