We were absolutely thrilled to have four of our graduates as finalists in this year’s radio awards said Jono. “These students have all graduated in the last two years and to have their talent recognised this early in their careers is very exciting” he said.

The Certificate in Commercial Broadcasting is a six month, full-time programme run from the Whitireia Media Training Centre in Wellington City and also in Auckland. On this programme you learn skills in radio production, promotions and commercial copy-writing while gaining experience in live on-air broadcasting. This is a well-regarded qualification in the radio industry.
