Skills Active Aotearoa gets a new home on the web

Skills Active went live today with a new website that tells the story of our incredible industries and how we support them and their people.

Skills Active Aotearoa is the industry training organisation for the sport, community recreation, exercise, outdoor recreation, dive, snowsport and performing arts industries. We have completely redesigned our website, with a gorgeous new look and feel, and better user experience through improved functionality and navigation – no matter what device you’re using.

We’ve added lots of beautiful imagery from our industries, and there are videos all over the site where our workplaces, trainees and assessors will tell you what it’s like to work with us, in their own words.

Sitting on the homepage are five dedicated sections for trainees, workplaces, assessors, schools & providers, and the public. Each of these sections has a My Toolbox page so that all our key documents, forms and resources are just one click away.

Existing clients can get to what they need quickly, and new users can browse the top level of pages to get a better understanding of what industry training in sport and recreation is all about.

Meanwhile, we’ve kept our latest news and our qualifications at the top of the homepage, so they’re just one click away.

Our tags and search filters will allow trainees and workplaces to narrow down the industries and qualifications that they’re interested in. They can also check out our new qualification pathways which show all our qualifications, whether currently available or in the works.

And our news and events pages are loaded with rich content, filtered by type, covering all the press releases, articles, newsletters, awards and events you could wish for.

We hope you like the changes, and if you have any feedback, please let us know.
