Report Links Abortion To Breast Cancer

A new report published in UK insurance industry magazine warns of abortion/breast cancer link – why are New Zealand women still not being fully informed?

The November edition of the UK insurance industry magazine, The Actuary, has published a forecasting report* on breast cancer which shows that abortion has a carcinogenic effect which leaves women more susceptible to contracting breast cancer.

This report references a new study published in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons that found that abortion is the "best predictor of breast cancer" in eight European nations. The Actuary report advises that the data is a reliable means of calculating and adjusting future insurance premiums.

Importantly, this report has been published in a magazine, which is not in the business of promoting political views or ideologies, instead its focus is on advising the insurance industry of trends that will impact their ability to make money and protect the interests of their shareholders.

This new report raises the important question: why are New Zealand women not being warned about the fact that abortion, particularly nulliparous (no previous full-term pregnancy) abortion, exposes them to an increased risk of breast cancer?

When organisations, such as Family Life International, raise this important issue in New Zealand, they are either completely ignored or accused of baseless agenda driven scaremongering. In the meantime, the health of Kiwi women is being placed at risk by ideologies that are more concerned with safeguarding abortion, than they are with protecting the health and wellbeing of women.

New Zealand women have a right to be fully informed about all the risks that abortion presents to their health, including the risk of breast cancer.

When will this shameful and outrageous silence end and women finally be given their right to full disclosure of the facts in this country?
