Media Update

The temporary hospital at the camp site of the 18th New Zealand Scout Jamboree has now closed. Four children with norovirus symptoms have been transferred to Christchurch Hospital for their medical care. Twenty one scouts who have had norovirus will be cared for by Scouting New Zealand and St John in a quarantined area at the camp site, until they have been symptom free for 48 hours and can travel on public transport. It is likely that all children will have left the camp site by early Tuesday.
