High Court Decision on Family Caregivers to Be Appealed
The Solicitor General has confirmed that he will seek leave to appeal the 'Family Caregivers' decision released last Friday.
The Ministry has been advised by Crown Law that the decision contains issues of law that have significant implications for other Bill of Rights cases and more broadly for Government decision making.
The potential implications of this decision are far wider than the health and disability sector.
The application for leave to appeal will be lodged in the High Court in January
