If you’ve been wondering what to do with special treasures you no longer require, now is the time to put them to good use. For the next three weeks, Hospice West Auckland is having a special appeal for their Hospice shops, so they are asking the people of West Auckland to give up good quality household items and clothing they no longer need.

“The bone china you received as an inheritance may not be your style,” says Barbara Williams, Hospice West Auckland CEO, “but our Hospice shops will gratefully receive it. We can sell it and make money for services.”

People can call Hospice to have their goods collected, or they can take them in to their local Postie shop where they will be passed on to Hospice. Everyone who drops clothing off to their local Postie store between August 13 and 31 will receive a 20% off Postie discount voucher.

Hospice West Auckland shops will take any good quality goods that you’ve been unsure what to do with, so people can also drop them off there.

Barbara Williams says, “We are pleased to have the support of Postie shops for this campaign as we are well aware of how tough things are economically for businesses.”

Your donated goods will be helping to provide essential support for people who are living with a terminal illness, and their families.
