Nutritionist strives for a healthier NZ

A passion for health and nutrition is something we all strive for – but for some New Zealand women it’s the essence of their being.

This is the case for leading NZ nutritionist Angela Berrill who lives and breathes healthy eating and is keen to share her knowledge with the rest of the country.

With highly sought after knowledge, Angela was previously a nutrition commentator on TV3’s Target, has featured on TVNZ Breakfast, contributed to Good Health magazine along with numerous other print and online publications.

With extensive experience in weight management and an interest in finding a solution to New Zealand’s increasing obesity problem, Angela also specialises in nutrition during pregnancy.

While giving advice to clients is all part of the job, Angela was able to put her own advice into practice when recently pregnant with her first child. Now a mum to Jack aged 5 months, Angela is more focused than ever on spreading the word about the importance of nutrition.

“Since becoming a mum, all my practices have seemed worthwhile. By sharing my knowledge I hope to be able to help New Zealanders makes better food choices, and create a happy and healthier future for our children,” says Angela.

“We are what we eat, so the best thing you can do is ensure what you’re consuming is of maximum benefit to your wellbeing,” says Angela.

Angela Berrill’s crusade for healthy food is set to increase in the coming months so this definitely won’t be the last you’ll hear of Angela.
