Scoop Feedback - Taking Hypocrisy To A New High

The One Sided View On Mid East Crisis

I am a proud and sceptical Israeli, I once had a "left wing" and peace loving opinion. I must say that the hypocrisy that has been revealed during our latest crisis has left me baffled. The Europeans have managed to get even more cynical then their usual unbearable self. Ironically it’s the holocaust memorial day here in Israel, and that brings the absurd to a new high.

We (the Israeli Jews) do not wish to burden or use any of the holy European’s air. We do not wish to depend on their good will. After the holocaust, I think most of us Jews got the message. If your sympathy requires us to be either dead, dying, or locked up, I pass, thank you all very much. I prefer to go on living without your stupid sympathy.

I wonder what the western enlightened world had in mind for us here. We have had a negotiation for peace giving Arafat all he demanded, that is 97% of the West Bank plus 3% of our own. We have agreed that any disagreement will be solved through negotiations.

What we got in return (with the idiotic excuse of Sharon's visit to temple mount) was terror in a form never before perceived in human history. I think that no other sovereign nation could have responded differently. I did not hear anything at all about Chechnya (20,000) or Afghanistan (6,000 dead) not that I think we are doing anything close to that.

So frankly I don't give a damn!!!!! Say what you want me and my kids have the basic right to live regardless of your hypocritical opinions.

All the best
Dan
