Global Peace and Justice Auckland are helping to organise this cities march and we will be speaking to spokesperson John Minto for details and to find out what they hope to achieve.
12:40 The foreshore, seabed and now race debates rage on unchecked. Over the last weeks bfm has tried to approach this many headed sensitive beast from different perspectives. Following on from a series were we have spoken to parties as diverse as the Orakei trust board spokesman, eminent economist Brian Easton, Deputy Prime Minister Cullen, Dr Brash and John Tamihere we thought we’d get the personal opinion of a man involved in the pioneering settlements of the 1990s. During this period Sir Douglas Graham was Justice Minister and Minister for Treaty Negotiations. He joins us to talk about these rolls and how he feels the debate is going.
1:10 We have one of the nominees for the 2004 Billy T James awards Ezequil Balmori joining us. A fascinating character this man is a Cuban who has studied in Russia, worked in France, is studying for a Doctorate in Auckland and speaks five or so languages. Scarily accomplished.
