Labour Leader and Prime Minister Helen Clark today announced the makeup of her third term Labour Progressive Government at a press conference in Parliament's Legislative Council Chamber.

Clark answered questions about the formation of the Government in considerable detail dealing both with the negotiation process and the manner in which she expected the agreements - which she described as "enhanced confidence and supply agreements" – to work in practical terms.
