Petrena Miller Shows Off Sassy New Range @emgirl

Fashionz.co.nz: Petrena Miller Shows Off Sassy New Range ‘@emgirl’

Petrena Miller’s show on Tuesday afternoon involved three separate and distinctive acts starting with the launch of her sassy new range ‘@emgirl’.

Sultry models in kick-ass black boots and tights stomped down the catwalk in black, black, black – cropped hoodies and cut-away tunic dresses, asymmetrical tops over short shorts and slim cargo pants teamed with tailored wool overcoats and peaked caps. Scarves added splashes of colour, and ruching on short dresses and skirts turned rock chicks ever so slightly girly. We especially liked the versatile short grey hoodie dress.

Miller’s jeans launched under the P label delivered more rock-chic with silver detailing and washed denim. These were tucked into tall boots or worn over heels.

The Petrena range offered elegant tailored pant suits in suiting and wool to flatter the feminine form and several stunning mini dresses. We were taken with the brown jersey dress and the floor-length red and black print dress with plunging neckline.

Fur trimmed an eye-catching brown antique leather jacket worn with a pencil skirt and fur wraps were the order of the day. There were various nods to the metallic gold of the season and the ageless Lorraine Downes, face of the Petrena range, walked Miller down the catwalk to finish the show with a flourish.
