"PublicACTA has been organised by InternetNZ so that the public can critique the known and likely content of ACTA (the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) proposals. It will be held on Saturday, 10 April 2010, two days ahead of Round 8 of the ACTA negotiations on 12-16 April in Wellington."

8:30am Registration and Coffee
9:00am Introduction - Nathan Torkington, MC
9.10am Keynotes: Michael Geist, Kim Weatherall + others
10:20am Morning Tea (provided)
10.40am Panel and further Info Sharing: Bronwyn Holloway-Smith (CFF), Jordan Carter (InternetNZ), Julian Carver, Jonathon Penney, plus the audience.
12:00pm Lunch break (lunch not provided)
1.20pm Key Issue Identification – the audience will break out into groups to digest the morning’s information and identify the key issues we need to further analyse and prepare positions on. A plenary session will compare the conclusions each group has arrived at, and agree what the next session’s main issues will be.
3:00pm Afternoon Tea (provided)
3:20pm Issue Statement Development – the audience will select the areas it is most interested in, and groups will develop proposed positive statements and critiques of existing known ACTA approaches in each area. This will be followed by plenary debate and hopefully agreement of the statements drafted by the groups, leading to a final statement from PublicACTA.
