Early Winners: Winston – Key

Early Winners: Winston – Key

Wellington – With 10 percent of the count in the big winner at the polls and on iPredict is Winston Peters.

With advanced votes and early booths mostly in NZ First has been tracking at above 6 percent and as a result of the probability of Winston Peters being elected to Parliament has shot up to more than 70 percent.

National has been pulling in around 50 percent of the party vote nationwide , Labour 25 and the Greens around 12 percent.

On iPredict traders seem to be factoring in that National’s vote will fade as more city booths come in and is trading at around the 47.5 percent mark, Labour 26.5 and Greens 11.5.

John Key is still heavily favoured to be Prime Minister and Labour is in trouble in a number of seats both on early polling numbers and iPredict with Waimakariri leaning towards National.

ACT is still in the running to hold Epsom and United Future in Ohariu, but these are very close at this stage.

As at 8.30pm iPredict traders were picking National to have 60 seats, Labour 33, Greens 14, NZ First 7, Maori 3, ACT 3, Mana 2 and United Future 1
