The Hutt’s War On Graffiti

A bill giving Hutt City Council greater powers to remove graffiti on private property has passed into law.

The Hutt City Council (Graffiti Removal) Bill passed its third reading on a voice vote.

The bill gives the council wider powers to remove graffiti on private property if they are unable make contact with the owners to get permission carry out the work.

MPs returned to the interrupted debate first reading debate on Minimum Wage Amendment Bill.
