Key Moves Confidence Vote As House Resumes
When Parliament resumed at 2pm the Speaker David Carter said he had received a letter from Northland MP Mike Sabin announcing his resignation.
Prime Minister John Key then presented his statement to Parliament and moved a motion of confidence in the Government.
Mr Key told MPs the election last year had given his Government the mandate to continue to govern.
