Ryan Adams Live –
Photos
Ryan Adams and his band The Shining played a killer show to a packed crowd at the Opera House on Thursday evening. I’m still a little speechless.
Adams is a revelation when live. When he throws back his head while shredding out a solo, you can’t help but humble yourself before him. His long career has never faltered, and he selected a great repertoire of songs including old favourites.
The final track was, predictably, satisfyingly, “Come pick me up,” to round off a near flawless set.
The Shining were incredibly tight and the chemistry between them all was palpable.
Becks and I were on hand to get some shots.
