The New Zealand First Leader, Rt Hon Winston Peters, has
apologised to the Chief Justice for criticising her
attendance at the constitutional conference in Wellington
this week.
The Rt Hon Sian Elias has advised Mr Peters
that she informed the organisers some weeks ago that she
would not be present.
Mr Peters said that the organisers
had failed to make the position clear and he has written an
apology to the Chief Justice.
