Will Organic Dope Be OK For Our Kids?

Green Party assurances they will support child protection after cannabis decriminalisation seem hollow, said ACT Justice spokesman Stephen Franks.

The Greens are reported to have sold alcohol without a licence at the party’s Annual General Meeting in Turangi last weekend.

“The Greens advocate cannabis decriminalisation but claim that prohibition on access by children under 18 can still work if the law is changed.

“Regulation to stop supply of alcohol to children will work only if licensing law is respected. If the Greens despise alcohol licencing law enough to sell organic wine without a licence will they have the same attitude to organic dope?

“The Greens propose that alcohol and cannabis share the same age of consent. How this will be respected and enforced when a national political party ignores the law designed to maintain the enforceability of age restrictions?”, said Stephen Franks.
