Appointment of Acting Senior Press Secretary
Opposition Leader Jenny Shipley has appointed Michael Tull
as her Acting Senior Press Secretary.
Mr Tull has been a
Press Secretary in the Office of the Leader of the
Opposition since May this year. Prior to that time he was
in the Press Gallery for three years as Senior Political
Reporter for IRN News.
He has also worked as a radio
producer and announcer, television scriptwriter and a writer
for magazines and newspapers.
The appointment is for an
initial period of three months. Mrs Shipley says she
expects to make an announcement about the future of this
position in March next year.
