'The Emperor Is Starkers'
The eagerly awaited, much vaunted report on compliance costs is a sham said ACT Industry and Regional Development Spokesman Owen Jennings.
"The Emperor has been caught with not even a thread of usefulness. So much for the Coalition's new found affection for business.
"The wealth producers of the nation weighted down with heavy handed compliance costs can give up waiting. This is too hard for Mr Swain. His anti business colleagues have dug their toes in and he has nothing to offer.
"If the Minister had a shred of decency he would resign. He offered much and has delivered nothing but hot air.
"It will take an ACT in government to deal with such costly, frustrating law as the Resource Management Act," Owen Jennings said.
