Trevor Mallard to carry out world’s first transaction of Euro Dollar
Trevor Mallard may be the first person in the
world with the chance to spend a new Euro dollar.
At the International Celebration of the Euro Dollar, Trevor Mallard will be the first person globally, to conduct a Euro currency transaction.
On January 1 2002, the banknotes and coins of the European single monetary unit, the Euro, will be introduced in Europe.
Travelex is promoting the event globally since over 302 million people in Europe will be directly affected by this momentous change, alongside millions of others around the globe.
The transaction will bring in the new year at Wellington Airport on New Year’s eve.
