Finance Minister Michael Cullen today welcomed
the latest ASB Investor Confidence Survey showing a net 21
percent of investors expect the returns on their investments
to improve over the next 12 months.
“The resilience of
sentiment is especially encouraging given the recent
scandals in corporate America and reflects the continuing
underlying strength in the New Zealand economy.
“It also
augurs well for economic growth,” Dr Cullen said.
