Crown solicitor appointed at Napier
Attorney-General Margaret Wilson today announced the appointment of Russell John Collins as Crown Solicitor at Napier.
Mr Collins graduated from Victoria University of Wellington. He worked in general practice in Gifford Devine & Partners and Hastings before joining the Crown Solicitors firm of Elvidge & Partners in Napier in 1993.
Mr Collins has extensive experience as a Crown prosecutor including management support for the administration of criminal jury trials in the Napier area.
Outside of the law Mr Collins has a
particular interest in sports administration and has had an
active involvement in voluntary administration of swimming
and surf lifesaving in the Hawkes Bay.
