ACC Needs Formal Inquiry

New Zealand First has called for an inquiry into the operations of ACC.

ACC spokesperson Peter Brown has written to the chairperson of the select committee asking for a formal inquiry.

“After receiving a number of complaints from people about their treatment at the hands of ACC, I think the Government has no choice but to look into how it operates,” said Mr Brown.

“What has to happen before the Government sits up and recognizes that ACC is not being run correctly?

“This is an organization that was set up to help accident victims but seems to be constantly failing them as so many people seem to have been treated unfairly.

“An inquiry has to happen,” said Mr Brown.
