The normal process for judicial appointments
was followed. Accordingly the Master’s position was
advertised. Anthony Christiansen applied. The
Solicitor-General and Chief Justice evaluated all
applications against the established appointment criteria.
Following consultation with members of the judiciary and
legal fraternity they recommended his appointment to the
Attorney-General confident that he has the skills, knowledge
and experience for the
job.
