Use Votes, Not The Mail Urges NZ First

New Zealand First has suggested that farmers vent their frustration at the ballot box and not at New Zealand Post workers who face health risks dealing with offensive matter posted in protest at the flatulence tax.

Rural Affairs spokesperson Doug Woolerton says he understands the anger of farmers at the false new tax but points out that the power of lobbying and voting is the only way to achieve results.

“Farmers should stop voting for the tax crazy political dinosaurs, Labour and National, and they will be guaranteed a better deal. Posting animal droppings will not fix the flatulence tax problem.

“Before the election last year New Zealand First warned farmers that the international green movement was going to do them like a dog’s dinner and the flatulence tax is the first part of a very scary scenario.”

Mr Woolerton said that New Zealand First was committed to getting rid of the tax after the next election.
