Like Minds, Like Mine campaign
Health Minister Annette King today launches the third Like Minds, Like Mine campaign aimed at reducing stigma and discrimination associated with experiences of mental illness.
The first two successful and award-winning campaigns featured well-known New Zealanders and their friends. This third campaign, featuring three New Zealanders who volunteered to participate, and their friends and families, uses story-telling to communicate powerful images of recovery and inclusion.
Ms King says the bravery and generosity of Rachael, Les and Lana, who are sharing their experiences, has the potential to make a real difference to the lives of other New Zealanders who have experienced mental illness.
