When a corrections officer is so anxious about the privacy of a convicted paedophile on parole that he doesn't watch him like a hawk, we know the government doesn't give a stuff said ACT's justice spokesman, Stephen Franks, today.
Stephen Franks was commenting on the re-offending of a convicted paedophile while released on parole.
"The public rightly demands punishment and protection. Labour doesn't believe in it and goes through the motions. The result - we will keep getting these kinds of scandals," Mr Franks said.
