Foreshore To Be Aired At Summer Policy Conference

Foreshore feelings to be aired at Green Party Summer Policy Conference

The Green position on the foreshore and seabed is to be discussed at the party's annual summer policy conference in Dunedin from the 23rd to the 26th January.

The Greens have reserved their position on the issue, ahead of consultation with party members, Maori and other New Zealanders.

The conference will discuss a wide range of policy issues, with particular interest in Project Aqua and the launch of the Green Party's Waste policy.


Venue:
Aquinas College, University of Otago.

Time:
Official opening: 5:30pm Friday 23rd January
Leaders' speeches: 9am Saturday 24th
Project Aqua plenary: 11:30am Sunday 25th
Waste policy launch: 11am Monday 26th.

Media are requested to advise of their interest in attending the
conference by January 16, 2004.
