“Comments I made in relation to TV3 using false
pretences to elicit information from former Bayfield High
pupils against David Benson-Pope were incorrect,” Finance
Minister Michael Cullen said today.
“It was in fact Prime
Television. I apologise to TV3 for the error.”
Dr Cullen
said Mr Benson-Pope had “a good story” to tell in relation
to the allegations against him and that he looked forward to
hearing it later in the week.
