Statement on Hon Taito Phillip
Field
Prime Minister Helen Clark said today that senior
members of cabinet have met with Hon Taito Phillip Field
about allegations which have been raised in the news
media.
"Mr Field has asked that these allegations be
looked at independently.
"I am moving to have an
independent person appointed to look at the allegations and
report back to me as soon as possible," Helen Clark said.
